Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Ho on the 19th of November 1972, in London. She is a daughter of Chinese as well as French parents. Toronto Canada has been home to her since she was five. Prior to becoming an actress, she was a Paris catwalk model. Her debut film was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). She was nominated as a Canadian Oscar nominee for this part. Rapa Nui Risen in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer were later followed by guest appearances, in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. In 22 episodes she portrayed a pivotal character in John Woo's The Thief. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was later followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both are available on DVDVHS. After a series of smaller parts for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first big role as an actor in the lead role. Holt began her acting career by playing smaller guest roles and part-time roles in the series. In 2013, she took on the lead role of Hostages and was cast as a support character in the Netflix series House of Cards. The Returned, The Returned, the US version of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also in the role of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
